QUALIFICATION (DETAIL):

Education:

BSEE/CS is required, MSEE/CS is preferred

Experience:

5 years of experience developing software for embedded products and/or supporting semiconductor solutions.

Other:

Must be comfortable with both software & hardware. Direct experience with WinCE/Mobile/Android based or similar embedded OS, and PXA/QCOM/Samsung platforms is required. Specific knowledge of 802.11 and/or cellular systems is highly preferred. Must be comfortable working with customers and do business travel upto 25% of time.

DESCRIPTION OF FUNCTION & RESPONSIBILITY:

Responsible for technical support to ensure successful integration of Atheros WiFi products into our customers' mobile/hand-held products. The role establishes the person as the technical expert for specific products and the relevant domain. Must have high technical competence and be able to provide in-depth technical responses to customers and to the company's FAEs during the pre-sales process. Once engaged with a customer, must be able to map out the technical details of a system integration plan - from project start through mass production. Will also be involved in qualifying and working with third party partners. Will work closely with Atheros development engineering and program management.

SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS:

Must be self motivated with good communication skills and an investigative spirit. Ability to be reactive to customer needs coupled with superior problem solving and debug capabilities. Fluency in English and Korean.
